Definitions:

“Little Emu”: Claire Elliott sole trader of Little Emu Sleep Consultant.

“Client”: the person receiving the information and/or services provided by Little Emu.

Terms & Conditions

• All consultation fees must be paid prior to commencement of initial consult. Little Emu reserves the right to postpone and/or cancel consultation should payment not be finalised.

·  The client agrees to follow safe sleeping practices in line with Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) recommendations www.rednose.org.au/section/safe-sleeping.

·  The client agrees to have medical clearance from my General Practitioner or other medical professional if their baby has any medical conditions which may prevent them from being safely sleep trained.

·  The client agrees to disclose to Little Emu their baby’s medical history including current medical condition(s).

·  Little Emu sleep plans are customised for the client’s baby and must not be shared with any third party.

·  Little Emu documentation and/or communications are confidential and must not be shared with any third party.

·  Little Emu makes suggestions for change. It is the responsibility of the client to implement these suggestions. Any changes you make to baby’s sleeping or eating are made at the sole discretion of the client.

·  Little Emu takes no responsibility for the results of the sleep plan.

·  Little Emu sleep plans may include follow up phone calls/emails initiated by Little Emu. Reasonable attempts will be made to make contact, however if the client is not answering the phone or responding to scheduled emails within 24 hours, Little Emu’s follow up obligation will be deemed fulfilled and no refund or substitute service will be provided.

·  Should the client need to put the program on hold after commencement of the program, arrangements will be at the discretion of Little Emu.

·  Little Emu is fully covered with professional indemnity insurance through IICT Insurance.

·  The Client understands that if Little Emu needs to cancel the Client’s initial consultation for reasons beyond the control of Little Emu, the next available consultation will be offered. I understand that I may request a refund if the next available consultation is not convenient to me.

Refunds

·  Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled initial consult will only be refunded 50% of the fee paid. Cancellations prior to 48 hours will be refunded 100% of the fee paid.

• Should the client choose not to proceed after the initial consult, but prior to the sleep plan being emailed, the client is eligible for a 25% refund on the initial sum paid for the package.
  
  
• Should the client choose not to proceed after the initial consult, but after the sleep plan has been emailed or at any stage during the first week follow up period (where applicable to a package), the client is eligible for a 10% refund of the initial fee paid for the package.
  
  
• Should the client choose not to proceed during the final week of follow up, no refund will be given.

Acceptance

·  I agree that by booking and paying for a package, I have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions of service as set out by Little Emu above.
